The California Association of School Psychologists positioned itself as a leader and resource on academic achievement and mental health for all students. For the first time in the organization's 50-year history, its 2,800 members were surveyed to determine their top concerns as professionals. The results of the survey were presented as the key component of a new CASP informational package provided to California's education journalists. CASP also publishes an ongoing series of Resource Papers and Hot Sheets for members as well as administrators, educators, parents and the media to provide practical counsel on issues ranging from classroom discipline to suicide prevention to student resiliency.
