Woodland Poly Gives Thanks

In the Spring of 1996 the international venture capital group, Pan Ocean, Inc., reopened a former Mobil plastics manufacturing plant in a small northern California community. The new owners were quick to position Woodland Poly as a good neighbor by rehiring more than 100 former Mobil employees -- a welcome boost for the struggling rural economy. A full-page Thanksgiving day story placed in The Sacramento Bee featured Woodland Poly and its grateful employees. Other technical reports placed in key industry trade journals informed prospective customers about the company's new equipment, product lines and innovative customer service programs.
